ICYMI: Watch the District 3 Virtual Safety Meeting

Many members were unable to attend the District 3 Virtual Public Safety Forum on Thursday February 11, 2021. The event, sponsored by SF SAFE and Supervisor Aaron Peskin’s office. Speakers included SFPD Chief Bill Scott, Central Station Captain Robert Yick, and District Attorney Chesa Boudin. Another meeting is planned for March. The Barbary Coast Neighborhood Association will also be following up with a community forum that focuses on strategies to address our current safety problems. Stay tuned!

Cannabis Dispensary Community Meeting on February 24

The owners of the California Street Cannabis Co. are seeking to open a similar adult-use and medicinal cannabis establishment in our neighborhood at 615 Sansome Street between Jackson and Washington Streets. The Barbary Coast Neighborhood Association encourages members and other residents to attend a Zoom virtual community meeting regarding the plans for a retail cannabis store with delivery services at 615 Sansome Street.

The Barbary Coast Neighborhood Association has teamed up with the Jackson Street Merchants Association to host an evening of merriment on February 18th to support our local small businesses.
