A message from District 3 Supervisor Aaron Peskin:

District 3 Deserves Solutions!

Please join Supervisor Aaron Peskin, SFPD Commander David Lazar, the Department of Homelessness & Supportive Housing and SF Public Works at a District 3 specific community meeting to address solutions and mitigations to homelessness.

Read some background in my Marina Times column here.

Are you ready to talk about solutions? Join us on:

WEDNESDAY, November 1
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
@ Broadway Studios, 435 Broadway
(between Kearny & Montgomery)

It’s time to work together to make meaningful change. Come hear from department staff on existing strategies to combat homelessness, and what more we can be pushing for together.

Please RSVP to Sunny Angulo in my office if you plan on attending. This is a meeting for concerned residents of District 3, so please respect and prioritize this as a forum for the community’s input.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!

Ford GoBike Seeks Your Input on Expansion Plans

Ford GoBike is expanding bike share in the Barbary Coast! The community is invited to provide feedback on the company’s latest round of proposed stations in San Francisco. Bike sharing is a new, affordable, and convenient transportation option for the city of San Francisco, and your input is important in helping craft a system that works best for residents, businesses, and visitors across the city. You can provide feedback on individual locations through Ford GoBike’s online survey, which is also available in Spanish and Chinese.

You can view a map of proposed stations. The timeline for installation of these stations is mid-2018, with permitting happening this Fall and Winter.

Ford GoBike station locations are determined based on a combination of community feedback (public workshops, community meetings, etc), engineering analysis, neighborhood needs, and input from the city of San Francisco. Additionally, when selecting suitable locations, numerous criteria are considered including access to solar power, Americans With Disabilities Act requirements and anticipated demand. You can read more about the outreach process at https://www.fordgobike.com/expansion.
