Watch Out for Street Closures on August 26 for Bridge to Bridge Run

The annual Bridge to Bridge Run, a 12K and 5K foot race and fundraiser for Northern California Special Olympics, will take place on Sunday, August 26 along the Embarcadero. Organizers expect 5,000 participants. For more information, visit http://www.bridgetobridge.com.

Street Closures on Sunday, August 26th:

7:15 AM to 8:30 AM: The Embarcadero (northbound only) between Mission and Washington Streets

7:30 AM to 8:30 AM: The Embarcadero (northbound only) between Washington and Jefferson Streets

8 AM to 9 AM: Jefferson Street between The Embarcadero and Hyde Street

8 AM to 9 AM: Jefferson Street between Hyde Street west and the terminus

8 AM to 9:15 AM: Van Ness Avenue between The Muni Turnaround and the Pier

8 AM to 9:30 AM: Laguna Street Boulevard (northbound curb lane) between Bay Street and Marina

8 AM to 11 AM: Marina Boulevard (westbound curb lane and parking lane only) between Laguna Street and the Marina Gate

Join the San Francisco Police Department for National Night Out on August 7, 2018. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign designed to promote neighborhood camaraderie and strengthen the relationship between police and communities to help make our neighborhoods safer places to live. Free activities! Police/K-9 unit, arts & crafts, games, music, food, entertainment and more!

World Cup Semi-Finals at Sue Bierman Park July 10-11

Sue Bierman Park will host viewings of the World Cup Soccer semi-finals on Tuesday, July 10 and Wednesday, July 11, both days at 11 AM. In addition to the games on a big screen, there will be food trucks, casual soccer activities, and other activities for kids like a mobile rock climbing wall. The events are family friendly and tons of fun!
