Grab a broom and dustpan, sweep the sidewalk in front of your home or business and pick up litter in your neighborhood. Together, we can make a meaningful, positive impact. Youth can earn community service hours!

About the Giant Sweep team: In February 2013, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee and the World Champion San Francisco Giants launched Giant Sweep, a citywide campaign that brings together local schools, residents, businesses and community groups to create a culture of clean.

The annual Bridge to Bridge Run, a 12K and 5K foot race and fundraiser for Northern California Special Olympics, will take place on Sunday, August 26 along the Embarcadero. Organizers expect 5,000 participants. For more information, visit http://www.bridgetobridge.com.
