Join Your Neighbors at the Love Our City Clean-Up Event on September 8th

San Francisco needs you! Join your neighbors on Saturday, September 8, as we get swept up with civic pride and all do our part to keep our city clean. The ask is simple: LOVE OUR CITY! Grab a broom and dustpan, sweep the sidewalk in front of your home or business and pick up litter in your neighborhood. Together, we can make a meaningful, positive impact. Youth can earn community service hours!

Join us at one of 40 sites throughout the City. Let us know you’re part of the team by registering on sfgiantsweep.org or by calling 415-641-2600 or emailing loveourcity@sfdpw.org.

District 3 Kickoff Locations:

  • Hemlock Alley between Polk and Larkin Streets
  • Joe DiMaggio Playground on Lombard Street between Mason and Powell Streets
  • Portsmouth Square at Clay Street and Walter U. Lum Place

San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and it takes teamwork to keep it looking good. On September 8, we’ll make a community-wide push to improve our neighborhoods – with a goal of keeping the momentum going. Every day. LOVE OUR CITY! Join the team. Keep SF clean.

About the Giant Sweep team: In February 2013, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee and the World Champion San Francisco Giants launched Giant Sweep, a citywide campaign that brings together local schools, residents, businesses and community groups to create a culture of clean.
